Qubes is designed with privacy-first principles. Your data stays on your device, encrypted with military-grade cryptography.
TL;DR
Your conversations never leave your device unless you choose cloud AI providers
All data encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM
No accounts, no telemetry, no tracking
Blockchain identity is public (NFT), but all personal data is local and encrypted
Sovereign Mode available for 100% offline operation
Encryption Standards
Qubes uses industry-standard cryptographic algorithms to protect your data. All encryption happens locally on your device before any data is stored.

Cloud AI Providers
If you choose to use cloud AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.), your conversations are sent to those providers according to their respective privacy policies. Qubes does not store or log these conversations.
Your options:
Cloud providers: Conversations sent to AI provider, subject to their privacy policy
Sovereign Mode: Run Ollama or LM Studio locally for 100% offline operation
We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any cloud AI provider you choose to use:
When you mint a Qube, certain information is published to the Bitcoin Cash blockchain:
What's public on the blockchain:
Qube name and description
Avatar image (stored on IPFS)
NFT ownership address
Minting timestamp
Your conversations, memories, private keys, and personal data are never published to the blockchain. The blockchain only contains your Qube's public identity.
Security Best Practices
Recommendations:
Use a strong, unique master password
Back up your Qube data regularly
Keep your private keys secure - they cannot be recovered if lost
Use Sovereign Mode for sensitive conversations
Keep the Qubes application updated
